Today, AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (AWS DRS) announces the general availability of Recover Into Existing Instance, which allows you to recover. When you restore from an RDS snapshot, you will create a new RDS instance. Choose the title of the card for the environment. After you disassociate the Elastic IP address, you can re-associate it with a different resource. After your instance is terminated, it remains visible on the console for a short while, and then the entry is deleted. If an instance is unhealthy, Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling will replace it regardless of which feature you use (unless you suspend the ReplaceUnhealthy process). Navigate to the Recovery instances page.
